I had Webroot installed by the Geak Squad on my new computer. I have only had it for a short while, but it seems to be working just great. it runs scans regularly or i can run them myself as I need.

I haven't seen any value in it yet, but since it was a freebie I'm giving it a whirl. It seems to take up a lot of RAM. I am partial to Malwarebytes, so I'll probably wind up with that.

We have Webroot for our laptop and desktop at home. I have been Very satisfied. We also purchased Webroot, for a new laptop that my son will be using at college. It is rated the best and can be used on other peripherals, without extra cost, you couldn't get a better deal at such a reasonable price.

I've used Webroot for several years on various computers. It performs well. What I did not enjoy with my latest disk installation was having to uninstall the previous Webroot program first. And there was no instruction to do so. After several failed installations on three devices, I decided to uninstall the expired Webroot program. Only then would the new Webroot program install. When this subscription expires, I have another brand ready to replace it. I purchased it today. I simply hope Webroot refines its procedures hereafter.

This product came with my Macbook purchase, and it works fine. I don't like too many active apps at times so I'll shut this on off. Besides scans, it will tell you if a site is safe to browse or not.

Making sure that getting the latest virus definitions is key. After that, it appears to run well, does not consume obnoxious amounts of resources on the machine. Exactly what I'd expect.

I love the different free add on best buy provides to keep your computer up and running till you have a better idea of the programs you would like to have on the phone.

Purchased this as an extra level of security for my business notebook. No complaints so far. Product uses little resources and doesn't bog down the notebook at all. I have been using Webroot for years.

I have put this Webroot on my laptop and another laptop and neither computer has experienced any Internet issues. I don't have pop-ups, no spyware or malware. Simple to use. Automatically updates. Renewable yearly subscription. I feel confident and secure surfing the Internet with the Webroot installed.

My home computer was getting pop up ads ... Freezing up ... And acting like it was handicapped . After installing this product no more pop up ads ... No more freezing . I will buy this again !!! And you can use on up to 3 computers !!' Can even be used on cell phones . Great product !

I have always used other name brand virus programs so I was skeptical at first but Webroot seems to do a good job of protecting my pc and doesn't use up too much memory in the background.

I will generally use this antivirus over Norton or MacAfee any day. It doesn't feel like its limiting my bandwidth due to filtering, and doesn't treat general loading as if it's an instant attack. So I don't have to go through and make myself vulnerable by giving full access to any particular program.

Good product! It came with my surface, but it already had anti virus, so I decided to install it on my old vista laptop. It found 10 or more trojans, and other viruses, great product!

I got it for free with my recent computer purchase, and for free it is OK. Fair deal. It will serve me well for 6 months until the license will expire, than I'll switch to McAfee or Symantec.

I use the free Symantec site offered by Comcast. Would rather not trust my system to Russians. Bit I am getting constant reminders by the Greek Squad over not installing their free security software yet. First it was free. I didn't even want to use it, was told they had to give me a copy at checkout, and gave the disc away on the bus home. Be aware you are going to be harassed by the Greek Squad over this trash software. Do you want your computer "protected" by hacks in a country that is constantly hacking our own government and corporate computers?

best buy recommended and installed 'webroot' after i let my 'other' internet security expire and the operating system had malware infection within 5 days after the expiration the 24/7 support is excellent. especially for those (like myself) requiring assistance outside of 'normal' business hours.

I am a new computer user and this was installed when I bought my computer. I trust the business where I bought the computer and they suggested this product

This product was installed by the Geek Squad at Best Buy. I had them do maintenance on my computer, clean up the hard drive etc., and bought a year of service. They did a very good job.

This Webroot takes the place of my AVG Protection and Opitimization programs. Where I had two licenses and due dates to keep up service, now I have only one that does all that the AVG did and better. I have to look into when the license is due and what the fee is, but I am willing to pay for it!

The Geek Squad employee had a negative comment about the anti viral protection I was using (not the same person who helped me but rather someone who was apparently listening in). He said I was entitled to Webroot free of charge because of my membership. I was coming to the end of my term with the protection I currently had so I agreed to try it. I immediately noticed a ton of pop-ups, etc. causing my screen to become so busy it blocked my view and I found myself spending all my time closing one thing after the next. I'm going back to my old protection.
