It does remove some threats,but major problem still exists the 200.00 charge for the geek squad seems to me to be steep. I live on a fixed budget and cannot afford that price. I do not agree with store policy to sell only one antivirus product forcing you too buy more expensive product being product that you purchase does not take care of problem.

Acording to many reviews, it is very effective against known threats but a little slow to keep pace with new and developing threats. As this was a gift from Best Buy with a hi-end laptop purchase for use at work on the road, I feel I need a little more advanced protection. I feel it would be fine for casual use.
