    It came with the computer, so as a free product it's great. Quick to scan for virus, works for the PC as well as the Mac. However, it blocks websites such an online banking, and even when allowing it to override that URL, it still blocks it, so I had to disable that feature.

    Webroot has an overall good reputation as a security system, however, as the year has progressed this release has become slowly less effective at catching the problems that are out there compared to some of its competitors. I would suggest waiting for the next release.

    It's alright, though I wouldn't pick this one out over an existing, known brand like Symantec's Norton suite if I had to pay for it. Just a tool for Best Buy to make people think they're getting something useful for free, but probably costs them nothing.
