Everytime I searched online, ads would pop up. I disabled the popup, I increased the security to high, I removed useless programs and still had the ads. One time I was on Amazon and had a popup on both sides and along the bottom. I couldn't see the page I had opened. Once I deleted the program, no more ads and easy surfing. I understand since it was free, ads are how it is paid for but this was ridiculous.

After I removed the threats found by web root, my internet connection went down. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

This usually means that your machine was severely infected before Webroot was installed. It is impossible for us to journal changes on a machine if we are not installed on it. It would be advisable to reach out to Geek Squad or our support for issues such as this.
