In the past 10 years of using Apple laptops I have never once had a problem with viruses on my computers. So I am not so sure this product is necessary. Perhaps if an individual was in an environment or setting where they are more prone to get viruses it would be good, but for myself I have not had need in a virus protector. I have noticed some annoying notifications that come up with it, that also don't seem necessary, just more of a hassle than helpful.

While Windows Defender is a good free, stand alone product, there are some large functions that Webroot has, that Defender does not.
