I apologize for the issue you are experiencing. Webroot requires the internet to install and validate the keycode, as well as stay up to date. It is important to note that if you are not connected to the internet. It is very unlikely you will get infected.

I've read that Webroot "runs seamlessly" with other programs, but I see zero need to junk up my computer with superfluous protection that I have to pay for. Unless you're running around visiting websites you shouldn't be, you don't need some $50 security software to keep your computer herp-free.
