Webroot is not strictly a "Windows antivirus." It is designed for Windows, Mac, and Android systems.
You can get infected on a Mac the same way that you can get infected on a Windows machine, and the damage done can be worse because of the way the Mac OS runs.
We do hope that you will reconsider using Webroot or any antivirus for that matter as you will always spend more money resolving an infection as opposed to preventing it.
