If you wish to use a free trial all you have to do is navigate to our trials page at http://www.webroot.com/us/en/home/products/trials and then download the product you want to use.
Once downloaded you simply click run or open depending on your browser and then enter your keycode.
If you are unable to do this, it would be best to contact support and have them walk you through the installation.

Thank you for taking time to provide us with your feedback.
We would advise giving Webroot a chance as it is much lighter than Norton and is compatible with other Antivirus products as well. We are not like any of the other traditional Antivirus programs that are still utilizing definitions as the main form of detection. We use advanced heuristics based on age, origin, behavior, etc to make determinations.
We also offer free support for our product.

I apologize for the issue you are experiencing.
I am not quite sure what you are referring to with links and groups.
Webroot will not create any links or groups on your system. It simply installs and adds the files it need to the system.
It will also have absolutely nothing to do with your TVs ability to connect to the router.
If you think Webroot is causing an issue but are unsure, it is best to contact our support team.
