Posted .This doesn't sound like a proper installation of Webroot. I apologize for the frustration and in the rare cases a virus gets through, our journaling and remediation technology reverses the changes the virus made once it is marked as "Bad".

This is incorrect. The Mac operating system is being increasingly targeted by malware and there is now even ransomware specifically targeting the Mac OS. We would advise installing a security program to keep your machine safe.
