      Couponqueen,

      We apologize for the issue you are experiencing.

      You can locate the Webroot icon next to the clock in your system tray. If you double click this icon, Webroot will open and then you can add a desktop icon. To add the desktop icon click on Advanced Settings then Install Settings, and then check the box for "Show a shortcut on desktop".

      Webroot should only popup if there is a threat detected or when you first turn on your machine in the bottom right to let you know it is running.
