I can't really tell if this protected my laptop, but I didn't get any virus so far. But the year ended up so fast. and I was not sure if this is the right product or should I go Symantec? or another?

After going through a painfully frustrating installation process, I kind of gave up on this software. I honestly can't say that its good or even working but I would be very disappointed had I paid for it!

I'm not quite sure why I got this item. I didn't even ask for it. It's a helpless item for me. I went back to the best buy and no one was willing to help me.

When I attempted to remove the keycode from the first package I bought, it came off in shards and fragments and could not be read, so I returned to Best Buy and exchanged the package for a second one, and asked the employee to remove the keycode for me so that I would be sure it was all in one piece. When I attempted to install it, I got the message that my operating system was too old and that the program could not be installed. Best Buy would not let me return the package because it had been opened. So I have just thrown $50 down the drain. Probably not the product's fault, but I won't be trying this again.

Installed it on advice from Geek Squad but from day 1 it would not allow me to open a window to see how it was doing, run a scan, or work with it. Uninstalled it two days later and installed Norton. At least that works fine.

It slowed my comp down so much. And every time I use my comp there comes a security pop up to make sure I want to view only secure connections. Five times a day would be tolerable or on each site but no every single page : (

This is a good product but seems to be about the same as the microsoft security essentials -but this is only for one year and the microsoft, which is a free download made for windows programs and never expires so.....

I didn't like the way this software took over my laptop. It slowed the startup and caused several issues. I uninstalled it and installed ESET. ESET is the best antivirus suite out there in my opinion.

This system is ok but I use another security system which I like. I had the Geek squard to do all the set up and it was awful. I need to take the computer to shop that knew what to do. Set up was a waste of money

As we already had Kapersky protection available, I passed the free Webroot Secure Anywhere product to another family member to use on additional components they owned, which they have not notified me of any problems.

My new computer was working perfectly. Then I received an email from geek squad that I didn't want to forget to install the webroot software. So I did. My computer wouldn't boot up. Ten minutes later still looking at a black screen. turn off/on three to four times then finally booted up. Same thing every day for 3 or 4 days. Finally removed Webroot. Now computer is back to starting up like it did in the beginning. Maybe I did something wrong during installation, but my computer works much better without it.. Definitely will not reinstall.

I'm not sure if it's downloaded properly. I never get any alerts saying that it's scanning, or a scan needs to be done. Never appears in my startup menu. So I'm not to sure if it's working or not.

It has not helped the issues I was having with my laptop and actually is operating worse than before this software was installed. I brought it in for virus removal, clean up and protection. It was an inconvenience to be w/o for several days, then get it home and have to contact tech support w/in 1 day via phone and have them rework the computer for another few hours and still not correcting the problems and missing icons and programs. As of today I have to make a 3rd Tech support call

Product description says it is a one year subscription, but once I activated it, I only received a 6-month subscription. If it didn't come free with a laptop purchase, I would be even more upset.

Not a fan of this anti-virus. Its given me a few headaches and I uninstalled it. Gave it 2 stars because the Uninstaller seemed to be clean and actually remove most things unlike most anti-virus.

By the time I found it and downloaded it, it had already expired because it was only a free trial edition. complete waste of money for Best Buy. unless they give them to the store for free.

It came highly recommended. Not sure of the problem, but I have had problem connecting to my internet providers website ever since this was installed. Taking back the computer to the store for the second time.

I did not use this as I feel. Norton is better and I had already renewed my account when I bought the new computer. I could not figure this one out when I tried to put it on the computer so I uninstalled.

Installed Webroot, and went through the setup. After initial scan my computer did all right, for a while. On following days, Webroot would show an infection, and ask to remove it. When the "infection" was removed, I could not sign on to the internet, and the only way to get it going, was to do a restore from an earlier date. Got so frustrating, I had to do a complete system restore. Don't know if it was my system, or Webroot, but I went back to AVG free. Not going to "recommend" or "not recommend" because I don't know if it was my computer or the software causing the problem.

This products not only blocks viruses but also blocks everyday items like connectivity to printers. Has to call cannon help desk to get my printer to function. Sometimes a great product is just too good.
