Works ok but there are better products out there, this is sort of the internet explorer of Best Buy, where they give it to you with a purchase and you don't really have a choice.

after this item was included in my computer purchase, I researched and it doesn't appear that it is more effective than Windows Defense (which is already inherent in Windows 10).

When I took my new laptop to the Apple Store for a typing delay issue, they gave me a hard time for having installed this software. Said it wasn't necessary and slows things down.

The information I receive is that it is free for only 3 mo. Than you pay.Not a full year the one I received is only for 1 of not three

looks like it works but I've only seen it scan and optimize with a reasonable amount of time three times, the other fifty plus scans rip by in under a minute and some times far less. I've re-installed it twice with no change in results and the settings keep changing on their own. No matter what I have to run manual scans, it won't run on a schedule or on boot. It was also unnecessary, the sales consultant said needed to purchase, but as I found out the laptop comes pre-installed with Norton. Seems like I paid for a no-show with a fake appearance!

I installed Webroot on my laptop and it told me to restart for installation to be complete. When I restarted the laptop it never came back on. My laptop had to be repaired. I lost all my data and important information on my laptop. Installing Webroot was not worth all the trouble it caused me or the valuable days lost while my computer was in the shop. My laptop is used for school and work, so it is needed daily. I usually use Trend Micro , which has never caused me any problems, but Geek Squad said Webroot was a better product. Now I regret trying Webroot.

I bought this product with 1 year geek squad service they install this on my PC and my old labtop this product say that i can use it on mobile devices but i try to do many time after creating my id it wont let me use it also i took it to geek squad in best buy they said they dont know nothin about it and they cant help me for this product how can they have something or selling something with is not useable in addition product backside of cover say contact geek squad for more information dont buy this product until they explains what is it for

I am surprised to find that Best Buy continously emails me about this product/its use. Its irritating. If I knew was going to be like that,...I would not have bought it in the first place!

forced to but Webroot to replace existing utility program. Webroot has no documentation and has set defaults so that I am unable to down load files or upload bank docs, Not happy with it.

When I purchased this lap top from Best Buy 4 months before it went crazy from vises even purchased the vise protection Kierpinski that obviously didn't work. Brought it in only to have to pay another 200.00 to get this fixed. Are all your computers rigged to do this after you purchase what you think is a good deal on sale at the time like me at $450.00 to have to come back and pay another 200.00 to get it fixed??? Very up set about this and feel after 4 months this should be covered and not charged.......................................

I can' t order a full scan on the program. Why not??? It is useless to me if it can't do a full scan. I will not renew the anti virus program if it doesn't upgrade to a full scan capability.

Mine had to be taken off along with another app that came with my computer because they both caused a Windows bug they haven't seen before. Pry would work for other people.

This product came pre-installed on my laptop. After 3 months virus warnings were all over my computer. Called best buy they stated webroot was not active. Web root was supposed to be free for 12 months. Turns out geek squad didn't install it correctly had to take new laptop back to have repaired. Still didn't work. Couldn't locate key for antivirus and geeksquad couldn't remove it. Terrible product. Way too many better product out there for free. No warnings what so ever it was self expiring. Apparently antivirus was only set up for 3 months.

Works okay. The anti-virus program worked just fine and cost less. It as just pushed onto me; I have never heard of it before. If I had it to do over, I would have gone somewhere else.

Security installation was successfully done. The final step, of connecting the computer and printer took far too long. During the upgrade,, my favorites list disappeared, so I now must learn a different method of generating one, without any warning or instruction. There is no print icon at the top of the page; something I use frequently. Now I must use cntl P. All the icons atop the page are new, and none of them are of any use to me. Bottom line:the useful icons atop my prior page have been replaced by icons that are no use whatsoever.

I brought in my computer to get corrected after the operating system failed. They sold me a protection package good for 3 years. Now I can't open some very important Financial documents. When I contacted the geek squad and they told me the protection program was canceled the exact same day I bought it. This is ridiculous why would I cancel the program the day I bought it and absolutely nobody can help me.

If you just need basic web security, then this is for you. I got it for free with my laptop purchase. I probably will not pay for additional service beyond the free year.

I hope the antivirus protection is good. For some reason it took 3 attempts to download this properly onto my windows8.1 VAIO. Hopefully that wont be the case with my other laptops.

Have not used this and never will. Subscription services like this stink. It was free and came with other purchases. The fact that Best Buy was giving it away should tell you what they think of it. Sure, you can try it for nothing and if you don't like it you can just delete it, but if you are a kid with no money or a person on a fixed income, when that subscription comes due, and you cannot afford it, what do you do then? Better off to just get the free internet security programs to begin with.

I thought webroot had always been good for me. It wasn't this time. It let 16 potentially harmful things go through. it is gone and I am using a different anti virus.
