I ordered GeekSquad support and then opted to return that service. Was told I had to take the computer into the store to have the GeekSquad service removed and to have the 6 month trial software configured. Three weeks later I received a notice saying that Webroot service had expired. After multiple attempts to contact BestBuy support, I concluded that my free subscription was no longer valid.

First of all, Windows 8 machines have built in virus protection now, so let me install virus protection on top of my virus protection, so my virus protection is being protected by viruses. Use Norton - this one stinks!

Because with this product I was getting Viruses on a weekly basis and since my computer is used for business - I can not be down that much. The moment I switched over to Norton - I had no more virus problems. Don't waste your time or money on this one. It doesn't work. It's garbage.

Posted .If I may start by mentioning our WIN Cloud http://www.brightcloud.com/platform/webroot-intelligence-network.php as all the work is done on there and not your PC also WSA only uses 3 to 6MB of RAM and up to 6 MB's on the Hard Drive for the Client and this is the future, it's here now! How can the other conventional AV's keep up with almost 500,000 new Malware everyday and over 142 million Malware in 2014 alone? Furthermore, Webroot has free Support as long as you have a subscription. Where as most other AV's don't have this!

They ELIMINATED my documents file, and wanted at least $750 to send out for the POSSIBILITY that they could be found. I'm heartbroken, as well as enraged. Best Buy? NEVER AGAIN!
