I had to call customer care to fetch the new key. While installing, the machine hanged and webpage asked me to call up Microsoft customer care. So, I kind of did not like the product

The problem is that it comes on an install DVD but the computer has no DVD drive. In this day and age many computers are sold without dvd drives, it would make more sense for them to make it a down-loadable program or even to put it on a flash drive instead.

Posted .Webroot SecureAnywhere automatically updates and should only be bugging you with notifications if you set it up to do so. Try opening SecureAnywhere, clicking 'Settings' and then switching it to 'Set and forget protection'.

There is no DVD on the computer, and plugging in an external DVD doesn't work, since the USB port doesn't provide enough current to power the drive. I tried installing from my desktop DVD shared drive, but get an error that it needs to be installed from a connected drive.
