I didn't have time to go the 35 minutes one way back to best but to return. Product may be great but I will never know as it is useless to me.

I finally had to unistall it. It might work all right othrewise. I won't know, because I do not intend to reinstall it. (I use other security software that I like much more.)

It sounds like one of your programs was being blocked in the Identity Shield and one of our technicians could have white-listed the program if it was legitimate so that none of our users experienced the same problem. Webroot is currently the lightest antivirus product available. If you experienced an issue such as this it could mean that you have unknown files on your system that are being monitored. It would best to reach out to our support team so they can take a look at this for you.

The laptop does not have a disc drive, so I thought I would just download it from the site only to find out that the key code to register it did not work, and instead of free I was charged $4 for the faulty product. The laptop works good though.

This does not sound like the correct process. If you paid for a subscription then all you need to do is click the gear icon next to my account and enter your new keycode. There is no need to purchase an additional one. Please reach out to Geek Squad for billing related questions.
