The Geek squad (who was very nice) installed a free security scan and then was able to enter websites. Why was I made to buy webroot if it interfered with connections to websites?

No need for this product with windows 10

As Windows 10, which it came with, provides its own security software there seems to be no reason to continue the coverage and pay for an item that is not needed.

Webroot is unlike any other antivirus currently available and we would advise giving it a shot during the trial period. It is likely that your machine will run faster when using Webroot in comparison to Windows Defender.

I did not need a new Antivirus program. I would have asked to deduct if from the contract cost had I read the bill. It's presented like it is a bonus with the contract but it is not.

I called and emailed and getting help was impossible. I just got stupid tips like "don't confuse 8 with B" which I didnt. When push came to shove they wanted me to pay or hire geek squad. BS

Norton had to disable/uninstall Webroot. They aren't compatable...

Posted .They actually are compatible and I apologize for the confusion. Norton wants you to uninstall Webroot but we take a less aggressive approach. We designed Webroot with compatibility in mind so that you can use a layered approach to security. You don't need to run another antivirus solution alongisde Webroot, but we will never tell you to uninstall another program.
