Have not used this yet so not really sure about it.

One of 5 that I've tried before. Not my 1st choice .

I don't know if it works. It doesn't show anything.

I didn't really like the web rooter that much. I downloaded it to my Mac, but it froze my computer up several times within a 24 hour period so I uninstalled it. Not a great buy for me.

as soon as I removed MCafee LiveSafe and put webroot on....I started getting these pop ups that lock up the computer and tell you you have a virus................while its not a virus, I didnt get this junk with MCafee or Vipre...................

This "Webroot SecureAnywhere" product is offered to allegedly protect our internet devices and defend us from this unsafe world where there are so many dangers as malware, hackers, etc. There are numerous internet security firms offering similar protection, seemingly almost as many firms as there are devices. Some firms cost less, most are within this price range, and a couple are available at a considerably higher price. Whether these internet security firms do actually defend our devices is something I would not want to learn the hard way. However, realistically, as we repeatedly hear, even the banks and corporations and our government agencies cannot obtain adequate defenses from hacking, etc. While this may be purchased directly from "Webroot" with options to protect as many devices as may be required, from a lower cost for one device and so on, Best Buy offers only these products to cover a maximum of three devices. I had purchased this same brand of internet security last year, along with the rather high-end laptop ordered then, and I am pleased to report that "Webroot" seems to perform as promised, thus far. I ordered another one-year subscription from Best Buy, and my card was charged the full price of nearly $55; even though I had been advised of a guaranteed discount upon renewal. Regardless, when the time came for renewal, it was blatantly apparent that no one wanted to hear a single word regarding any discount. Frequently, a new PC is sold in combination with a bonus of three-months, six-months, or one-year of free security by one of these various firms. Usually, an almost equal fee is added to the overall charge, should you require "Geek Squad" assistance in downloading the new or renewed subscription. A half year of this security product had been included as a bonus with an order of an additional notebook; though I decided to simply disregard that which can prove a literal annoyance as a six-month security bonus and, instead, renewed "Webroot" for one year. At least this time, I can obtain the advantage of the subscription covering the two devices I will use this year, rather than just the one device I had used last year. I must emphasize, whether this does provide effective protection for our internet capable devices, I believe this investment is worth even some peace of mind it certainly does provide.

This should be optional with alternative given because I already have an ongoing subscription so it was not useful to me in the least or else it should be able to be added to the current subscription to postpone renewal for six additional months.

not good support, bad customer service on the phone

I had an appointment with Best Buy to set up my laptop and install the product. I miss the appointment by a few minutes so I would've had to reschedule. I didn't have the time to wait so I set it up myself and did not install the product.

We bought this in June, it is now end of July, and it still has NOT downloaded onto either laptop we own. It states up tp 3. We tried on 2. It starts to download, then stops. So how is it suppose to protect my laptop, if it never loads????

Webroot was recommended by the Geek Squad representative. Easy to install. It found some viruses but it also claimed my former antivirus software was also a virus. It also did not remove the virus I knew existed on my Mac. Very Disappointed!

Code no good. I paid $200 for Best Buy computer care and they gave me this and told me to install on all three computers under the "care" plan. Junk................

hard to set up on mobile device, not user friendly

I highly recommend AVG. I love AVG Zen. This was a freebee and I never even opened the package. I also consider MacAvee preinstalled malware and work to get it off as soon as I can. Just one person's opinion, you are welcome to differ.

Installed on my work pc and nothing worked. Installed on two personal pc's and it slowed them down so much to the point of not able to even use / search amd had to uninstall. Frustrating. But easier to risk being without antivirus than deal with webroot

So if this product is truly installed on both of my laptops, why do I keep getting notices that my coverage is about to expire? At this point, after having one laptop fried by GS over the phone, and now buying a new laptop, I have no faith in GS

i had three time a malware had to be removed i lost time away fro mmy personal computer the only reason a re bought the web root was because i was low on money and bought the web root with the store credit card. something is better than nothing

I was unable to install the webroot and when I requested help at Best Buy from the 'Geek Squad' I was told that I would need to contact the manufacturer. I am very displeased.

As a consultant with 20+ years in the industry I've learned anything that is free is not going to be that good. Especially an A/V solution. I use a standard solution for all my clients and it works. End result = Happy Client:-)
