It will constantly bog down your machine trying to run itself. Get windows defender for free. no annual fee junk involved. It's also regularly updated.

We loaded it in and it interfered with the antivirus that was already there. Then we had all sorts of steps to do to remove it so we could have it operate normally.

Plus the e-mail sent to open the on line Web Root program, the included code would come back as "error".

Are you sure that it was the legitimate HP that you were speaking with? Webroot is far quicker than McAfee and we offer free support for all of our products. I would inquire with Best Buy about a refund if that is where you purchased this at.

Windows 8 comes with A/V built in. In my opinion this is just a bunch of redundancy to eat up processor power.
