I haven't been impacted by viruses on my computers, but I suppose it is better to be safe than sorry. My laptop was a huge investment and anything that is meant to prolong its use is up my alley.

I have an older computer, ok very old computer that had a LOT of spyware and even a virus that my free anti-virus didn't not pick up, much less get rid of. Once I uninstalled the old anti-virus and install this one the computer ran like it did when I first got it. I like to say that you get what you pay for, but in this case you get MORE than you pay for!!

I looked and this flash drive was 1/2 the price of the others on the shelf. I asked the salesman if there was any difference in the two. When he said absolutely nothing.....it was a no brainer. Get the cheaper one!
