I purchased a Macbook Air and this antivirus came with it. I installed on a windows 8.1 laptop that I used for work that it was not working properly it was very slow and I had Kaskersky installed on it. I removed kaspersky and WEBROOT detect 9 viruses And removed them in about 30 minutes. Now the laptop works like new and I like WEBROOT Because it just works!

Installing was easy after an initial glitch. I contacted support on line but then was able to install it on my own. Notification showed it was good for 6 months, but I thought it was 1 year deal. I actually bought it as part of a new package.

This product works mostly in the background and, unlike OTHER LEADING applications, does not continuously intrude with pop-ups and info screens. Since I have not experienced any security problems, I assume it is working as advertised. Good product!

I now feel secure when I do my on line payments and my net browsing.

This came free with the purchase of my new laptop. I've been using it for a couple weeks now, and I'm thrilled by how little effort I need to put forth to maintain it. I set up the details, password protection, etc...it is like a dream, especially after using a common and really junk-filled internet security program on another pc (that came with my internet service provider). My new laptop came loaded with another resource hog, and there was a significant difference in system speed after I uninstalled the junk and installed this one. Only wish I had been told the subscription started from the date of my laptop purchase (not from date of install). I wouldn't have hesitated so much to give it a try. Seems like this would be especially beneficial for older pcs with less RAM since it doesn't hog resources the way some internet security programs do.

Inexpensive and great for internet security plus easy to follow steps

Every Dell computer I get comes with one year of McAfee Live Safe and as soon as I turn on the new computer it is added to my Webroot account. I have had several smaller viruses . Not anything major just annoying and scan after scan with the included software says not threats and no actions. Run a Webroot Secure Anywhere scan and it wipes them all out first try.

Had problems with last internet security system, replaced with Webroot and haven't had problems since I changed. Price was reasonable making it a good value.
