I apologize for the issues you are experiencing while installing.
When installing from the website you need to choose the proper product and start the download at http://www.webroot.com/us/en/products/wsa-installer-download. Once the download has completed you need to open and run the file, then input your keycode when needed. A scan will start and when it is done you are all set.

My concern is that I have had malware get through that locked up my computer and I had to disconnect from the internet and reboot. This has happened five times in the last month so my confidence is not what it was when I first got this product back in April 2016. I'm planning on stopping by the geek squad to get a computer checkup.

We have plenty of companies that test our products efficiency. We do not participate in traditional testing because those tests do not reflect the efficacy of next generation products. They base testing on definitions and other things that are obsolete in todays threat landscape.
