Didn't realize a brand new computer is very vulnerable. A virus tried to infect it almost immediately before Webroot nstallation. Now -- peace of mind!

Good and not obtrusive like some

It did flag a required Apple file as a threat, but it was easy enough to deselect it. Just be sure to review the threats before removing.

Only problem with it occurs in the usual virus vs. software way. But it's super easy to turn off, install the software, and turn back on - no searching for secret hidden buttons or anything. Just on and off! Updates itself. And in all the years only 1 virus has ever gotten through. So A+.

It's best features seem to be its inobtrusiveness. You load it, and it does not slow your system down. It does not bother you every time you visit a new webpage. It quietly monitors. It will work in concert with other anti-virus software, and it's reasonably priced. So far, so good.
