I never had to worry about my computer being protected. And furthermore, it can also be downloaded to other devices for protection, so I'm very impressed. I've used it on Windows PCs for years in the past as recommended by Best Buy. It's easy to use, since it works in the background automatically. I guess these days even MACs need extra protection and I trust Best Buy's recommendations.

The version that you receive with your purchase is a free 6 month subscription.
If you paid to purchase a yearly subscription you may be installing the wrong one.
