    I have had the other internet security devices over the years that slow the computer down. It doesn't seem to be that way with the Webroot product. I have been very happy with Webroot for about the last 8-9 years.

    I got this Webroot Security Program for free with my laptop purchase and I figured I might as well take advantage of it's 1 year free subscription program instead of wasting it. For a free software, the installation process was a breeze and very fast. My new laptop doesn't have a cd drive but as long as you have the ID number, you can download the program online too which was a real plus, in my case. I'm not at all tech savvy but I've installed many anti-virus security programs enough to know how it works and this one is fast at catching malwares and bad cookies. As soon as installing is complete, the program runs automatically to scan everything of what you have thus far and it caught everything big and small that was on my laptop. Real easy, real fast. I've had no problems so far.
