Well it did and we went to Best Buy and spoke with a different salesman who recommended this product. It did not remove the scratch. I believe it is the only product they carry.

I have only used my stove 3 times and there are rings around the 2 burners used where the skillet sat. This product will not clean the top. I have used the product, soap and water and a nortex cloth. Nothing will clean it. All I did was cook eggs.

There must be an easier way to clean

While it may work fine for her, it was messy and hard to wipe off. I would guess that similar products have similar results, but we will try other products.

Posted .sorry to hear of your disappointment. Depending on if the burns around the burners are from pots and pans (which can be permanent) or if it is from food and over-spills then this product can be used to remove the food residue. We would recommend applying the cream to that area, covering with Saran or Plastic Wrap, and letting it sit on the surface for 30 minutes. Then follow up with your scrubbing pad, wipe away food residue, then buff.
