I totally forgot about this great movie until I was searching for an older movie to purchase. It just brings me back to the fun movies from the 80's that I can always re-live. My kids seem to even like and cherish more of the movies from the 80's and they were both born in the early 2000's.

John Hughes rolled out great film after great film throughout the 80's and up to the 90's. Most of his films were excellent but for people in my generstion, his films hold tremendous nostalgic value. Weird Science was just one of his many box office successes. Great flick and s very reasonable price.

Whether you grew up in the eighties or not this is a classic movie to own on Blu-ray. My 1! and only gripe about this film is that I noticed they replaced the iconic weird science song with Lady in Red during the scene where Kelly LeBrock aka Lisa is riding the escalator in the mall. I don't like when changes are made to classic films no matter how subtle they may be, still a good film though

I'm having a hard time trying to figure out whether I like this movie because it's good or because it brings back good memories from back in the day. That being said, it's a bit on the naughty side. More so than I remember. The bonus features include a nice look back featurette that includes interview footage of some of the cast members. All in all, glad I bought this.

A very classic 80's movie with some actors who you may not recognize, yet but become stars. It is a fun film about a couple of geeks who get more than they expected by being..well geeks! They do end up better off in the end as in the beginning and even though much of the story is unbelievable and doesn't have the best f/x it is a fun movie to watch and laugh with.

I've always told my kids there are certain movies they have to watch to be well rounded adults (most of them are from the 80's). so naturally this purchase was a no-Brainer

Oh wow. This was a long awaited classic for me. I love this film. So creative and so time period correct too. Funny and silly at the same time.

I have loved this movie since seeing it in the theater in my high school years. I had it on DVD, but the picture was never truly clear. Now with the blu ray transfer, it has a fantastic picture. The extras are fun and at $5.99, it is a steal!

The movie is a little campy but is a classic semi science fiction movie. The acting was fantastic, and the visual affects were great as well. It is a fun movie to watch for all ages.

Well personally for me since I am a movie buff, collector, and 1980s is one of my favorite decades of movies, music, technology and style that you would want to have this cult classic film by John Hughes in your collection. Especially being that is now on bluray.

If you haven't seen this movie and your an 80s fan or born in the 80s this movie won't disappoint you. It brings back so many memories when I was younger watching this film.

I caught a bit of Weird Science on tv, and it took me back... I had to add it to my collection. Totally fun movie, but what goes as PG-13 now is not what it was then... beware showing to your impressionable teens.

John Hughes was a gifted filmmaker with a unique voice that spoke to many viewers in my generation. I'm an 80s kid and remember watching his films repeatedly. WEIRD SCIENCE is so much fun and so "out there" in its premise that deserves its cult status. Can't get a date? Make one. Genius!

Where can I start? This is classic 80's teen comedy. While not everyone went off to become big stars. Robert Downey Jr and Bill Paxton are in this film. If you are a fan of John Hughes films then you need this in your collection, and $5 for Blu-Ray and Digital HD, you can't beat it.

It's hilarious how this movie is a snapshot of the times it was created in. Yet, that doesn't diminish the comedy, even if the technology they use seems silly now. It's a campy classic that never gets old.

Classic 80's comedy fun! I'm a huge fan of AMH from the Brat pack & this movie totally brings back the fun memories. Great resolution on bluray, but then again, anything is better than owning this on VHS.

This movie is a reflection of some of the quirky paranoia in the earlier days of technology. It is a teenage boy fantasy expressed through the idea of building a computer generated fantasy woman. The movie is not politically correct in a few ways, but it is a funny period movie.

This was one of my favorite films when i was a young dork growing up in the 80s, and its still really fun all these years later. At $5.99 you cant go wrong. Put this one in your cart. You'll thank me.

While it may not hold up as well as The Breakfast Club or Sixteen Candles this movie brings back great memories and can still make me laugh - an added benefit is introducing my teenage nieces to it and watching them recognize Downey and commenting on the "stylish" clothing!

I had never seen Weird Science. I saw the TV show based on it. However, the film is funny. Great practical FX. Movie has the great late Bill Paxton as the bully big brother. Awesome movie.
