Good movie but definitely has started to show its age

Silly movie made many years ago. Probably considered cult classic.

I purchased this not realizing it was a blu-ray disc. I don't own a blu-ray player so I was upset that I couldn't watch my #1 movie. Very Sad :-{ I have no time to take the movie back for an exchange at best buy because I work alot and late, so I just took a loss on my money!!!

My copy did NOT show up at my door looking like the artwork above. I purchased the Blu-ray because I have the 80's version of Sixteen Candles. There was no slip cover at all. Best Buy strikes again!

The movie is filled will stupid words where curse words should be. The words filled in make no sense with the complete sentence.

dreadful movie. took a chance on a $5 flyer. waste of time and money

I bought this movie on Blu-Ray from BestBuy.com on January 15, 2017. I received it in the mail. I was really excited to receive it. I opened it up and the disc was nasty dirty. Which made me wonder why the disc was dirty since the entire case was wrapped in plastic like it usually is when it's a new disc. It didn't take much to clean the disc though. And there is a flaw in the center of the disc on the front of the disc. But the disc still plays well. I watched the entire movie just to make sure it would play well. So there are no problems playing the disc. Just was a little concerned about why the disc was dirty. So that is why I am giving a rating of only 4 Stars. I have always Loved this movie. It's a classic 80s movie that I now get to watch whenever I want. And I have a code for the digital copy as well so that's awesome. My advice is to just make sure that the discs are clean when sending it to customers who are paying money to own it.

"Weird Science" was definitely a wide departure for John Hughes after the yearning, lovelorn comedy/drama of "Sixteen Candles" and the rather introspective melodrama of "The Breakfast Club." For this film, Hughes essentially indulged his id and went for broke with a raunchy comedy that must've been a gift from the gods for America's teen boys upon its release. Hall and Mitchell-Smith are perfect as the high school outcasts who conjure up the perfect girl. What happens next is a roller coaster of wild comedy. It's TERRIFIC! A genuine '80s classic, and one of my favorites.

man weird science the coolest movie on this planet so funny this movie is from the 80's one of the best years a John Hugens movie the guy who did movies such as sixteen candles pretty in pink and the breakfast club i love weird science its the best john hugens movie also on the dvd theres a pilot epsode from the 1994 tv show weird science She's Alive!

This is a coming of age movie with a fine story line. There is the gorgeous girl, Ms. LeBrock, the crazy brother, a good foil to the two main characters and an over the top party. The build up is well paced. The night out at the bar leaves something to be desired. Still the climax with pay pack to the big bro is cool. Happy ending!

What can I say? Weird 80's hilarity and teen angst at its finest! Also, great Blu-Ray quality, and the fact that it has a digital copy means I was able to put it on my Vudu account. A+++

Ok looking for a fun movie for teen boys that well, my husband said shes hot- but then again every guy does. Its a fun movie that seems to never actually go out of style

I love this movie. Saw it when i was a teenager and glad that they have it available in Blu-ray. Good addition to my movie library.

I saw this movie as a kid and I still love it as an adult. It is timeless, because you know guys that would try to do something so crazy just to meet girls

One of my favorite movies as a kid. Fun to watch all over again. Makes me laugh every time.
