Poor Craftsmanship

My primary complaint is the quality of the materials and craftsmanship. The lining of this bag ripped with normal use only a week after I purchased it. This is definitely not worth $50.

Good, but Bad
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have purchased 5 of these bags for the ladies in my office and we all love them. Unfortunately, with prolonged use (2+ years) they really start to fall apart. The interior lining has ripped out of 2 of them and on another, the handles are cracking and pieces are falling off. I really hate having to give a bad review, but I feel for the price and reputation of Swiss Gear, these should last a lot longer.

Poor quality

In both bags, the fabric covering the piece that attaches the handles to the bag have come undone. There was no problem getting a replacement, but in the interest of creating less waste, I'll be replacing this bag with something more sturdy.

Not long lasting

It is really padded inside, so the laptop is really protected. But it would only work if you carry a Macbook Air or any other laptop as light as the Air. I was expecting this tote to last, but I already had to buy another tote to replace it. It was great while it lasted.

Poorly made, straps rip with normal wear & tear

I am not a heavy user, but do carry the bag to work each day and occasionally take it on the plane. Would expect more from a Swiss Gear bag - avoid this bag if you are looking for something functional that will last for longer than 6 months
