The item was on sale and good thing it was, not worth paying for full price. Don't use it for important stuff, may not last you too long.

Item was dead on arrival. All the drive would do was click, which meant a bad drive.

Maybe I just got a lemon but this quit working within a year. When using a drive to back up a computer it needs to be dependable and so to me this is unacceptable.

This hard drive failed on me after one month. WD are usually high quality, and honestly I probably just got a dud.

I bought this one month ago and I have used it only 3 times as a backup. It just stop working.

Had a gift card and found this at a low price, and it's perfect for my Xbox One. I had it linked with someone else that liked to download all of the free games, try them, and then uninstall them, which means that they also download on my system, inundating me with an endless queue of games that don't have enough room to install. Not anymore! Plugged this baby in, formatted it (or formatted first... can't remember the instructions, but you'll find them somewhere) and I was good to go. I still uninstall things that I don't want, but I haven't yet had the constant notifications due to lack of space. Has worked great for a month or so now and I couldn't be happier. For the price, I definitely recommend it.

This HDD was recommended by Tablo users, so I bought it to attach to my OTA DVR (Tablo Dual Lite). Upon USB connection, Tablo reformatted the HDD, and it's been recording since. No hiccups, no issues. I did, however, set the HDD on top of a small electronics fan which I run 24/7 - just in case. I would recommend this HDD if you're purchasing an OTA DVR - Tablo.

Drive is very compact and light. The USB 3.0 interface provides extremely fast transfer rates.

this is an excellent drive for the price. got it on a sale. have it hooked up to my router to stream pictures and home videos.

Works great on my PS4. Originally brought it for my Wii U, but that didn't turn out as planned.
