So far, this Western Digital drive has been great. Very fast. I use it on my macbook pro - just reformat it and start using. It seems a little noisier than some other drives I have. Not much, just a little. Also, the cable that comes with it is very short. I love that the WD drive comes with a 3 tear warrantee. I'll give an updte in 3 years to see if it really lasts that long.
