My goal in purchasing this external hard drive was to partition and back up (entire computer image) my home and office computer with Windows 7 operating system. I did this because I'm testing Windows 10 to see if I like it. The hard drive was very useful and I was able to accomplish my goal. Very easy to use. I like the product a lot.

Not much to say here. It's a solid and very portable hard drive. Data transfers quickly and I haven't had any issues. Just make sure you're not disconnecting the hard drive in the middle of writing to it. And make sure you have multiple backups for the truly important things, as even though this has been a reliable hard drive, all drives will eventually fail.

This is my first laptop and I needed a laptop that met certain requirement for my engineering degree. It's been working great so far. One glitch is the webcam has been turning itself but the system says it's working. Currently looking into that.

I purchased my first external hard drive from WD 7 years ago. I recently decided to get another as another backup (this recent purchase). I've heard it's suggested to have three locations for data. This device makes #3 for me. I strongly support anyone interested in a reliable device to buy one from Western Digital.

This portable hard drive is a good deal for extra storage space. Not the biggest, fastest, or newest, but gets the job done at a very modest price.

I bought this WD to save pictures and videos for extra backup. This external hard drive is light and small enough to carry anywhere with you.

I have used the hard drive for only 2 weeks and so far have had no problems downloading files onto it. But the true test will be in a year or so, if there continues to be no problem accessing files. In the past, with other drives, I have lost data, Hopefully, this hard drive will continue to be reliable.
