I bought this TV so my 10-year-old can watch Netflix on it. I have not really messed with it but she tells me the tv menu slow and annoying.

I set the TV up and tried to watch CNN. CNN uses a rolling news banner across the very bottom of the screen. When I set my Direct TV incoming resolution at the TV’s rated resolution of 720p the Westinghouse screen cuts off the news banner so I cannot read it. Every other TV in the house shows the banner just fine. In order to get the Westinghouse TV to show the banner I have to “dumb the TV down” to 480p. By having to lower the resolution like this I lose clarity in the picture. My choice is to forgo the banner at 720p or forgo clarity at 480p. I don’t like my choices. Spent one half hour on the phone with Westinghouse customer service and another half hour on the phone with DirecTV. Each one blames the other and no one can help me. Every other TV in the house shows the banner just fine at that TV’s rated resolution. The Westinghouse TV although rated at 720p only shows you the whole picture at a low resolution of 480p. I’m taking this Westinghouse TV back to Best Buy to get my money back. Very dissatisfied. When I was a kid Westinghouse had the slogan “You can be sure if it’s Westinghouse.” Yeah you can be sure you won’t see the whole picture on their TV !!

The tv is as it says. We bought 2 as gifts. Only one of them was given and the sound doesn't work. We will have to return

You get what you pay for. The picture quality isn't the best, but my kids love the built in apps!!(Netflix, YouTube,etc)

This works OK as a TV but the smart features do not work at all. 4 calls to Westinghouse customer service and hours on the phone and it still does not work. They promised to call me back with a senior Tec advisor within 24 to 48 hours but that was 5 days ago I never got a call. I would give it 0 stars if available.
