AWESOME TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an awesome little TV. I was a little unsure about buying this tv because of the negative reviews about the remote. True there is no mute button but don't matter to me I am using my Comcast remote. Picture/color is nice. Did not use the smart features because it used at my camp but I am glad I bought it.

Remote control is sub par
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The remote control stinks. There is no mute button, no numbers, and no "last channel" function. These big buttons for Netflix and Youtube are useless and I don't even know what "Vudu" is. Also, it seems like it takes a while for the remote to "warm up"...once you turn the tv on, it takes a few minutes for the remote to become functional. TV is ok, but I'll be looking for a replacement remote.

Very Basic Smart TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The main reason for the two star rating is because the remote control in the reviewer's opinion is poorly designed and very bad. The remote control that comes with the TV does not have numbers so that you cannot input the channel number. Rather you have hit the up or down arrows multiple times to switch channels. This results in time wasted to go from one channel to another if the channels are separated apart by many in-between channels. Also the remote lacks basic functions such as mute and the button to switch back to the previous channel. The only good is that this smart TV enables connection via internet to basic video services. The only basic video services you can use with this TV are VUDU, You Tube and NETFLIX, which may not be good if you desire more video services. This Smart TV will work with an Antenna for free over-the-air TV and cable TV. I would not purchase this TV again solely due to the poor engineering design of the remote.

Does 95% of what I need.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The TV lacks Composite input and Spotify. The remote lacks number buttons, last channel button, and mute. I'm super glad it has a VGA Port and a analog audio in jack. The TV seems to only recognize 2.4 GHz Wireless Fidelity networks and is kind of lacking in WIFI range. TV works great with my $9 ONN Wal-Mart antenna and there's other great things about it. The pros outweigh the cons.

Cannot receive cable chanels
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The remote is a roku style remote and there is no receiver for cable channels on this TV. It was a fantastic deal at Best Buy I thought until I got it home and realized that the only thing I could do with it was use it to watch movies from the DVD/BluRay or Netflix. If that is all you are hoping for then it will work fine. If you are hoping to watch any TV channels then you need to look at a different device.

Great unless not stationary...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like all the features, but the screen cracked in a car ride, and neither Westinghouse or Best Buy will fix or replace it, since it's not in any warranty for a cracked screen. Buyer beware. Very fragile screen you can't get covered. I would suggest investing in a more durable tv/monitor...

forces you to have a cable box to get HD channels
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have basic cable , no box. I would not rent a cable box just to get HD channels. My other tv does not have this requirement.
