It's ok for our bedroom, but I really should have gotten a bigger TV. Nothing wrong with the Westinghouse. Just should have gotten it bigger.

Have it a spare bedroom. My guests will enjoy having TV In that room

I bought this tv as it is full hd. I wanted to use as a tv as well as an extended monitor for my computer. For tv, very basic functions. Only can view info per channel at a time. Horrible as an extended monitor that I am having doubts that if it's really full hd. Can't fault much for the price for a ' full hd' tv.

Bought this little guy to have as an extra monitor for my new MacBook. Works great and picture is clear, resolution looks great from my MacBook.

This is a good tv but it only has 1 HDMI outlet and i wanted more.

The television is small and a little flimsy. ..but it's ok.

I purchased this item in an "open box" sale. The description rated the condition as "excellent", which meant the item was in like new condition with everything it needed except for maybe the paperwork (which can be found online in most cases). The item arrived quickly & well packed, but did not have a power supply. An extensive internet search did not produce a replacement for less than $30.00. I returned the item to my local Best Buy store within a couple hours of when I received it with no problem. The only reason for this low rating is because I feel the description should be more accurate.

This is a great addition to a small bedroom. Great picture and sound.

I tested and calibrated the picture on this TV by connecting it to a home PC first (HDMI port). I then use a white background (Notepad in full screen works well for this) and check for ANY dead pixels out of the box. Absolutely NONE! The picture on this Westy is one of the best I've seen: even LED back-lighting, no dead pixels, brilliant colors and ample brightness. There are normal preset picture modes (movie, sports, user, Energy-Star). And best of all...the sound. While there's no super-bass to rattle the walls, the overall volume is amazingly loud and clear. It beats my 2-year old Insignia 24" 1080p TV hands down. I mainly bought this TV to use with a Roku Stick. The Roku takes advantage of streaming video at 1080p from Wi-Fi Internet sources - even TWC. The Roku lets you access all your Time Warner channels over Wi-Fi anywhere around the house -- like a mini cable box that's portable. The Roku is powered off a USB port exactly like the one on the back of this Westy. To that end, this is perfect solution as long as your Wi-Fi coverage is decent throughout your whole house. I can unplug the TV's power cord and take it anywhere around the house (kitchen, porch, pool, garage, etc.) ! Only the single power cord to deal with, the rest is the Roku plugged into the TV (HDMI and USB ports) where it remains plugged in. Now I have portable cable TV anywhere around house!!! Finally, the other reviewer commented he didn't get any off-the-air digital TV channels - implying no built-in digital tuner. This is definitely not the case. I just grabbed a 5 year old RCA amplified antenna I had ($30 table top kind), connected it, went to the menu, told it to scan off the antenna. In under 5 minutes, it scanned all 16 local DIGITAL stations and each & every one came in perfectly - even the local sub-channels off the main broadcast networks (NBC, CBS, ABC, FOX etc). This TV was on sale for $99 this weekend - best deal I've seen for a 24" 1080p that has no defects as far as I'm concerned and is perfect for portability as described above with a Roku stick! Get it, you'll love it too!
