I purchased this for my elderly mother to make things easier and more enjoyable for her to watch all her movies. The best part she doesn’t need assistance with adding and removing dvds. The sound and video is great.

Old School TV with DVD

The screen is just the right size for our room and the quality is great. We have only tried store bought DVDs so far, and they have worked well. Not sure if it will play DVD-ROMS or not since the logo was not on the box. Overall, we have been very happy with this purchase.

She wanted to watch DVDs she gets from the library and this unit fit the bill. After showing her how to get started and turn on CC, she has been enjoying it without any other help.

She still uses DVDs. No streaming for her. Her 25 year old set up finally gave out. I was thrilled to find this configuration. Very easy to set up and use. Great picture. Great price. We are living in a trailer and only have a small shelf for the TV and it is only large enough for the TV, so the speakers are all pointing to the rear or into a wall, etc. We are having to prop the TV up with books or boards under the legs so that the sound can come out. PLEASE make TVS with front sound also.

Guest Room TV

I would suggest to use an HD cable box for better viewing.
