Westinghouse TV

It does not work that well as a computer monitor and the DVD player is a bit dated. The DVD player will not play 1080p or 4k DVDs.

However; I want to stress that it was not defective. It worked fine; but the software is a bit clunky. Outdated by maybe 10 years. . Plus, it does not automatically switch inputs to DVD; even though it is built in, you must first switch input to “DVD” to use the DVD. I have never seen one built in that didn’t automatically switch, before this TV. This item was purchased for an autistic adult. He has a difficult time with remotes; and the more buttons, the harder for him. On his old TV, there are large buttons on the side he can use, he can see them, and find basic things he needs are there. On this TV, the buttons are small, and under the center, and hard to see. And you have to reach under and push “up” on the buttons. It is not geared for the buttons to be used easily. For most people this would not be an issue, they would just use the remote. This TV would be fine for anyone used to using a remote, and who doesn’t mind switching to the DVD input to start a DVD.
