We bought and return curb side for replacement never got it cheep quality but we use once in blue moon not good for daily use

Less than 4 months and has a mother board issue. From what I've read online this is common. Will be returning

Bought this tv 18 months ago and now the picture is out.

Picture is nice, sound is good, light weight easy to wall mount and DVD player is a bonus and works good. I bought 2 of these TVs.

Poor quality sound, unit very cheaply made, avoid this item

I bought the 24 inch Westinghouse TV/DVD combo strictly because it was the ONLY TV/DVD combo Best Buy sold in a 24 inch. I am happy with the TV itself, but the DVD appears to be very cheap. It makes a horrific, almost grinding noise when playing or fast forwarding through previews, etc. The DVDs do not insert smoothly either; they're a little jerking going in, for lack of a better description. My initial thought was to return this unit because I thought the DVD was defective due to the loud noise, etc..., but after reading other reviews, it would seem as if this is standard. Unfortunately, the staff at Best Buy could not offer any insight into how the DVD player should sound for this make/model. So, reluctantly I am not exchanging this for another unit (too late to return for a refund). The good news is that the TV picture quality is pretty good. The only other negative feedback is that, like many reviews have already stated, the remote is not very intuitive. and poorly designed.

This product is frustrating on multiple levels. We got it because it was the ONLY TV/DVD combo (in two sizes) available. So not much choice there. In retrospect, I would just bite the bullet and get a separate DVD and TV. The product has an absurd design requirement to first set the mode to DVD before inserting the DVD (instead of automatically setting the mode for you when you insert a DVD, as our last TV/DVD combo unit did). And the mode set button is small and not prominently located on the badly-designed remote. Inserting a DVD into the slot results in a sickly, rickety sound, like a half-dead motor on its last legs, plus I have to keep coaxing the DVD in with assistance from my finger (the motor alone doesn't pull it in once it starts). There are two dim buttons near the DVD slot that are completely undocumented in the manual (at first I thought they were USB or HDMI slots). One is Play/Pause, and the other is Eject. Speaking of the manual: it is just horrible -- many omissions and cryptic or meaningless verbiage. Some software functions I could not get to work at all, such as the individual channel hide/erase. Want to get rid of that foreign-language or home shopping channel in your channel list? Good luck. Ditto for setting the time. I will say one good thing about the product -- the picture is good quality (so for that I bump the rating up to a two). Overall: not recommended.

This television has a very clear picture. It is easy to mount for the wall or set up to sit on an entertainment stand. Remote easily connects to tv. Very reasonable price for a quality television.

Nice picture and quality for thee money. I replaced an insignia combo with this. Some reviews below say poor sound quality, not so much. It has kind of a design flaw in the 2 speakers are on the bottom of the unit and the slits face down and to the rear. It is running on the stand on the other side of my desk so the sound is better behind the unit? It sounds fine in front also.

Like many others, we purchased this TV because of the DVD combo. Ours was to be used in our travel trailer so we didn't hook it up for a month or so on our first camping trip. DVD player didn't work at all, just said "Loading". BestBuy wouldn't let us return it due to it being past the return policy. It is covered under warranty but customer is required to pay for shipping...$40. So, $150 TV that doesn't work for intended purpose and I pay $40 to send it back for a refund. Unfortunately, there are few products out there with DVD combo so I'm going today to try again. This time, I will use it repeatedly in the house to make sure it works properly. I would not recommend this product unless you need a DVD combo as I do. If you get it, definitely use it immediately so you can return it to Best Buy if it doesn't work.

I bought 2 of these, and the picture is great when you can get one. I bought them for the DVD players to put in my kids rooms, for their movies. But the movies won’t play. I always have to change the DVD 5 or 6 times before I can find a movie that will play. I thought it might be the movies, but they all work fine in other DVD players. I even bought brand new movies of the movies we already had, just to try them and they didn’t work either. This goes for both TVSs, so I doubt it was a fluke. I just want the dang movies to play.

We bought this TV for our son that has a small area. Works great. Has an HDMI port to hook-up a gaming system.

If i had it to do over again, i would not purchase a Westinghouse or White TV system. I spent an hour on the phone with comcast trying to find the code to link the two systems. I found a code on line...however, the tv switches to Spanish when channels are changed and you have to re-program back to English. So back and fort reprogramming with each channel switch. I did find that hitting the D key twice on the comcast remote could get me to English more rapidly. I also paid the GeekSquad to hook me up...he left saying that Westinghouse updates their codes often and to keep trying. So what did I pay for when I was the one on the phone with comcast hooking me up.

I bought this for our motorhome. The sound output is too low and we can barely hear the shows while driving. There is not much difference between the lowest and highest sound settings.

Zero stars bought from Best Buy for RV 10/30/2020 didn’t install till March 2021 doesn’t work keeps cutting off Best Buy won’t take it back manufacturer more trouble than it’s worth read very similar reviews on this Tv and Best Buy, they were where we got all our electronics I’m sure it will be a long time before we go there again much less buy anything. Will check on condition of items purchased immediately now never thought we were purchasing non working items.

Purchased for the kids for xmas. Bought two. Had to return to the store twice because the DVD player is not good at all. It has ate a brand new DVD that my child got for xmas. I just bought 32 inch tv's and new dvd player instead. Horrible product from Westinghouse.
