decent picture, great for bedroom

I use it for my bedroom and I know it is only 720 but I wish it had a better picture. I have a 32" Toshiba with a slightly better picture. And there is one flaw that annoys me. Sometimes, when I turn it on, I can hear the sound, but there is no picture. If I turn the channel, the picture appears and then it is fine after that.
