This TV is a good value for the price. The only drawback is there are minimal jacks on the back of the unit for sound.

Got this TV for under 200$ out the door. Nothing fancy. But clear picture, easy to use and worth the purchase.

Good picture. Easy to use. All ports are pretty easy to access. I was worried about the one foot as a base, but it is really steady. Happy with my purchase. Especially the cost!

I bought this for my dock and it has been 2 years. I don't need a lot of smart tv features, but just wanted a decent HD tv. This works great and I like the customized settings for display, so I can tune down the tv at night. It works great and never any problems

I bought the television to replace one that burned out and it works very well for me. The video is sharp and the audio is amazing.

The remote is very plain and changing the channels takes a few seconds more, but overall a great buy. I bought this as a Christmas gift for my daughter and so far she loves it.

I am using this TV as a computer monitor, but stream movies over high speed internet also. As a recording engineer we use large monitors because of the distance from the speakers places us at a distance from the monitor. This TV is doing well as a computer monitor, and as a TV for playing DVD and streaming video from YouTube, Netflix and Vudu. The large monitor size of 40 inches is a great bargain at this price, AND is one of the few remaining TV's with a VGA input!!!

Picture quality is good, even for action scenes. Seems as good as my old plasma tv. Nice to have 2 HDMI, VGA, USB, and coax inputs. Easy to use tv as a monitor.

I bought it in replacement of brand new 60" my husband broke. It's small, but does the job. I just have to move close to it a bit. My hus has 32" in his room, same brand.

Don't let the displays fool you!!! Best Buy sets the picture quality poorly on the lower priced tv's in order to get bigger sales. Just take a step back and look! The higher priced tv's that have same picture size, 1080p, and 60Hz will have better picture quality to trick you into paying more for the same features. The tv picture is great for the price. If you think that it's not bright enough, change set up from home to retail. Negative is the sound is hollow and loud. The remote feels cheaply made; like it will break easily. Both work for my need as a tv for bedroom.

We weren't expecting more than average performance. However for the minimal price it was a good buy & exceeded our expectations.

Purchased 6 weeks ago and everything is going well. Set up was easy. No problems with function. Digital tuner and hdmi input are working well. Mostly run sound through an A/V receiver, so no sound issues. At the price point for 40" its a good value.

I've bought Westinghouse from Best Buy in the past and they are a very well built tv, and the prices are great. The color is vibrant and sharp.

Good picture unless you are sitting to the side and the colors fade a little. Sound quality fair for the price.

I purchased this tv to go inside of my girls bedroom. They are 6 and 7. I hesitated to buy a sound bar as a lot of reviews stated that they needed one. However, I keep this television at a minimal level, and it is perfect with the volume.
