We have had several Westinghouse tv's of which all had great, crisp pictures. The brand is a reliable brand. They are still in use and this is an addition. Highly recommend.

This TV is a bargain! 40" 1080p picture is great, no noticeable backlight leakage and decent contrast. It might not hold up to a Samsung series 6 but it's 200 bucks! The only down sides (there are two I noticed) the sound is awful, you'll want to plug in some speakers or a sound bar, the channel auto-search stinks, can't find a single TWC channel on basic cable, works ok for over-the-air so if you don't have a cable box, maybe not the TV for you. But over-all for a 40" full HD display, you can't go wrong with this for 200 bucks.

Purchased this TV for my son's room to use with his Xbox One, great picture for a 40 inch because it's a full 1080 resolution HDTV. The price was great compared to the other 40" TVs.

I needed a TV that would fit a small classroom. This fit the bill. Best Buy made it affordable with their Open-Box offers. This TV performs all I need it to do as a larger monitor for students to see streamed videos, instructional powerpoints without breaking the budget.

Great tv for a younger gamer. Xbox one is hooked up to it and it functions flawlessly.

This was a gift for my elderly mother. Screen size was much larger than she had been watching. The price was extremely low. She is very pleased. Audio is a little weak.

looked for the least expensive tv to hang in our covered patio for the summer and fall football really pleased with the picture quality as good as our LG

Replaced an old television with this one and am thrilled with the picture! Make sure you use the HDMI cable!

This hdtv is great, i use it for a computer monitor and TV viewing. I would suggest that when you set it up use the retail setting, using the energy saving setting basically just fries the capacitors resulting in premature failure.

Great tv for the price, looks good, easy to hang. Again for the money, it's been great. I don't expect amazing image or color with a tv of this price.

Bought this as a replacement for an old LG 32" tv. Very decent picture quality. The sound is very good for a tv this cheap. It can get nice and loud. Overall happy with this tv. If you can get it at a cheap price, i highly recommend it.

I purchased this tv thinking I would have to return it due to low quality for the price but this tv is better than my rca tv without a doubt
