We needed to replace a 15 year old flatscreen, and based on price and reviews, landed on this one. It's not a frequently used TV in our house, but for what we spent, it's more than adequate. We also really like that the roku interface is built in, as opposed to having to use another stick.

This TV deserves a better remote

However, the Roku remote is very poor for changing channels when watching “regular” television. You cannot tune directly to specific channel numbers. You can only change channels by use of the up/down buttons. I returned the TV for a different television with a legitimate remote.

Ive only had this tv for 6months when all of the sudden I heard a Boom! Crash! Went to see what all the racket was about & my new tv was off the tv stand, on the floor below, and the screen destroyed. Seems like the little, tiny, skinny legs that were designed for this tv just snapped. One of them snapped, causing the tv to tumble off the stand onto the floor. Now hoping to get this tv returned & replaced by manufacturer. Awesome tv if your gonna wall mount it, would not suggest setting it on top of a tv stand with the legs it comes with. Tried to upload pics of broken leg & damaged screen but had issues...u can see from the pic itself that the tv legs just arent stable enuf to hold this tv in place for a long period of time...just wish I wouldve caught that from the start & prolly wouldve mounted it first instead of using the legs & placing it directly ontop of a tv stand.
