    tv picture streaks

    I bought 2 50 inch Westinghouse TVs in Feb. 2023. One of them picture started vertical streaking about 6 months ago and the other started streaking today (03/31/2025). They only last about 2 years.

    I did a manual update using a USB drive and the updated failed. Updates over the internet have also failed. I don't see any path for fixing it at the Roku website. The TV is stuck on a blue "Roku TV" screen. I have tried the reset button and powering it off. I've had this TV for 1 year 3 months.

    The tv had a line going through it the first week. Then the screen started doing a weird fuzzy look, but it stopped. I wouldn’t buy this brand again!

    Awful sound, hurts my ears

    Surprised by the good reviews. The sound is so bad I can’t hear the speech at all. The sound is just pitched bad and hurts my ears. I tried all the sound settings and it doesn’t improve.

    What is not updated and I think I over paid. Took me 2 days to get current. Now I wonder how long. It stay that way! Do you have kids running the store?!!!!!!

    OTA tuner works poorly

    The OTA tuner on this model does NOT work correctly. It can be very slow to access. scrolling through channels will make the tuner take off on its own and make you start over. I am very disappointed.

    I purchased the television for my grandson, he opened up the box and the television screen was totally cracked, call Best Buy twice, customer service representative, stated they had no record of me calling the store, which I definitely know I did and spoke to two different people and on the first call he assured me he was going to let his manager know concerning the matter

    1st tv had sound issues, 2nd tv wouldn’t stay on

    Tv kept powering off about every 2 minutes. I wasn’t even able to log into my apps to try the tv out. It powered off 4 times in the time frame of less than 10 minutes. The one I bought previously had a distorted speaker and sounded like crap so I’m done with this brand. I thought the first one was just a dud but apparently so was the 2nd one.

    Had to return it! It would not recognize my Fios cable. After two days of troubleshooting with Verizon and then with Westinghouse. I was told to just return it by Westinghouse. You get what you pay for. Samsungs only for me!

    Awful tv, nice price but this is a perfect example of “you get what you pay for”. Tv is garbage, got in late January and since last month, the screen has increasing white blotches streaking down the entire left side and middle. This is trash.
