Not happy with sound quality of speakers not very loud.but a great value.

This TV has a horrible picture,the colors are really bad don't buy it.

This tv is easy to set up but has poor picture and sound

I purchased this tv in May 2016 and just reviewing now because it bothers me so that the tv sound does not work. It started to not work less than 6 months after purchase. 1st year Warranty right. We'll that's the problem, Westinghouse wants me to pay to ship their broken tv back to them. NO. I refuse to spend more money on this tv. That's why i purchase it in the first place b/c its cheap. Oh its cheap alright. Customer support, Nonexistent. I should of spent more money and got a REAL TV instead. Good luck.

I purchased this tv from Best Buy after few months the sound stopped working. Called customer service so many time they seemed very unconcerned and asked same questions over and over again. After weeks they send email told me to ship TV to them at my own cost which was almost more than what I paid for the TV itself. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON ANY OF WESTINGHOUSE PRODUCTS IS OF NO QUALITY... Go for SAMSUNG TV had one for over 7 years perfectly OK...

I bought this on Cyber Monday and the specs, picture, and sound quality is just as good as the name brands at 1080p 60hz. If you compare this tv to another 50 inch Samsung 1080p at 60hz, or LG, Sony, Sharp, Panasonic, and Vizio, there is not a lot of difference. at only $269, I would take this deal any day over the others b/c how much better can the picture be with those specs unless, you want smart TVor roku, apps, etc. Then this tv is not for you.

since this is not a expensive brand tv, and my first one from this brand , my only worry is how long will it last, will it break soon ? i hope not , but for now, no complaints the tv works fine, great pic, i paid 300 total ,on cyber monday , so i cant complaint on the price. Also the sound is ok, i don't know why people are complaining about it, its a tv not a home theater, so don't listen to those complaining about the sound. the tv is great and look nice, doesn't have a beautiful controller or the best settings menu but for a regular led tv, you cant go wrong, add a fire stick or chromecast and you have a nice 50 "cheap smart tv

Great price. Good size. Good buy. I really wasn't sure but decided to go for it. I'm happy with my purchase. No complaints.

THe picture quality was very clear and vivid. At first the sound was way too low and I was very upset. But then I went into the menu and audio options and changed the setting from "Surround sound" to "Stereo" and now the volume is much higher and its good enough to watch movies and TVs at 80% maximum it is loud enough. Great deal yesterday for three hundret bucks. Now I see the price has jumped back to 38O

I bought the 50 inch while it was on sale for $267 and I couldn't be happier with it. I used to have a 32" Samsung TV and picture quality is the same if not very, very close. Audio is "good" but it could be better. I use a surround sound system so the audio is not a problem for me. I just wanted a bigger TV and for the price I couldn't pass this up. Definitely would recommend it if you are looking for a great TV picture that fits the budget.

Bought this TV on sale, it is great for it's price! We upgraded from a 32 in., so this 50 in. is great! The picture is amazing, the sound isn't too bad, but I may buy a soundbar. But we like this TV a lot :)

Bought this on cyber Monday 2015 for $269 great picture quality sound however is awful so I would recommend a sound bar or some type of backup speaker setup bc the tv sound just doesn't cut it otherwise very happy with purchase

After reading the reviews I wasn't sure if I wanted this tv. Went ahead and bought it anyways. It's a great tv. Nice quality picture. As the reviews said the tv speakers aren't all that great if you want it for a big living room. For a decent sized room it's more than loud enough. All hdmi ports work. Overall great.

I purchased this item online and received it relatively quick. The size, price and picture are amazing. My issue resides with there is ABSOLUTELY no support from Westinghouse. I was on hold for 45 minutes and still never spoke to anyone! My issue was and is simply that the setup procedures provided did not properly work as my cable remote could not be programmed to control the box and the tv. Five days later still no response or callback.

I purchased this TV on Cyber Monday. The price was ridiculous (in a good way). It gets a very good picture. I have a sound bar hooked up to it so the sound is not an issue. If it lasts 3 years I'll be happy but of course I'm hoping it will last longer. I'm really enjoying it.

I got this during a black Friday sale for $269.99. A 50" LED tv for that price alone is worth the buy. I got it for my mother as a gift. She uses it in the living room and it doesn't get much glare during the day which is good. The picture for blu rays is great with a Sony blu ray player. The sound is really good without a sound bar or home theater system. It is a little thicker than some LEDs but it is also lightweight. So moving it around isn't a hassle. The start up/set up screen is simple as you can expect for a non smart tv. If you have kids this would be a great Christmas present. This is my first product from Westinghouse and for the price it is worth it

50 inches for under $300...what more can you ask for. Good image but like others have said, the speakers/sounds are weak so get a cheap soundbar and your cheap cheap system is ready. Good as a spare our infrequently used tv

For the price unbeatable, a solid 50" tv. I can barely tell the different from my other 50" tv that's vizio that I have in the living room.

Wow what a great tv for the money. Awesome picture. And the sound is great. Was thinking I would need a sound bar to help with sound. Tv sound fills the room with just a few notches on the volume. Very impressed.
