Love it great picture and sound for the price you cannot beat it

Great picture, size, colors and sound .. Totally worth the price

I love this tv! It works absolutely perfect! I read reviews online and had seen several people say it didn't get loud enough... That was not the case for me what so ever. I barely have it turned up at all and it's still almost too loud in my living room. If you are looking for a big screen tv that's just the perfect size and price, this is definitely it!

I knew I was getting a bare bones TV set compared to the TVs that are out there today. But the price reflects that and more. It is well worth the price, you get more than what you pay for. Inhight recommend it is you need an extra TV for a bedroom and only need it periodically

I highly recommend this television for anyone on a tight budget that wants a 50' flatscreen. I have 40" Sony and 2 55" Samsungs, I bought this Westinghouse TV for an outside area and did not want to spend a lot of money. I was so pleased I bought a 2nd one! At $280.00 its a steal!

The price was unbeatable and display is great! Adding external audio and an HDMI streaming Blue-ray was necessary to deal with the HDTV's weaknesses. Which I was aware of prior to buying due to customer reviews! All-in-all, if you're seeking a great deal, without expecting integrated audio or SmartTV, you'll be very satisfied with this product.

Sadly this Westinghouse is not worth the money. Over the years, I had purchased two prior Westinghouse LCD TV's and was incredibly satisfied with both the picture and sound quality. Unfortunately, this model does not live up to that expectation. First, the picture is milky, yet bright. Despite adjusting every possible setting, the picture just never reached a natural, watchable state. Secondly, and perhaps most importantly, was the incredibly poor sound quality. Despite boasting a 35 watt speaker system, the sound remained brite and tinny, unable to reproduce any sense of warm, dynamic vibrancy. Interestingly, the sound began distorting at level 6 (of 30.) Again, various settings and adjustments were attempted, but to no avail. I suppose one could use a home theater system for sound and bypass the internal speakers all together, but there's still that milky picture... I had such expectations for this model, that I bought two. Of course, both got returned.

I bought this tv as a gift for my in-laws to replace their older tv and they have been happy with it. The larger screen means they don't have to squint to see things. Initially they thought it was too big but that complaint has gone since owning it for a few months.

I had planned on getting a soundbar to go with my new TV when I bought it and after reading the reviews for this TV I could not agree more with the reviews. The sound on this TV is terrible but the picture is great! If you plan on buying this TV you MUST get a soundbar

Great tv for the price, excellent picture and decent sound.

For a tv that's 1080p and at 50" at a price for 250$ it's well worth the buy. Picture quality is as clear as a 250$ tv could be. There is no support for any mp4, avi, etc formats and the sound isn't the greatest but if you pair This with a sound bar and a fire tv (or something similar) you will have a really great setup for under 450$

They're on the cheaper side, but when you don't give a dern about spending 8 trillion dollars on technology that will soon be outdated(4k) or deemed stupid (looking at you, curved tvs), they work just fine. I don't look at this tv and be like "dang i wish it curved an eighth of an inch, then it would be like i was IN this Pixar movie".
