Bought this for my husband for an early christmas gift, when it came we were so excited to mount it and watch. Well we did all that and it didn't turn on. We called and they told us it was defective and to exchange it.

Occasionally, 1 out of 20 times, this TV will not power down correctly and I would have to manually unplug it. Is it a software error? Please fix it because it gets annoying.

This one isn't a 4K TV because only shows the image like an HD 1080 but with some enhancements. The menu is really poor, the design is very normal, don't buy it. I returned it and take an 43" Hisense.

Not sure if it was just my unit, but my volume was horrible l. Only sounded normal on MAX volume. Also, the unit powered on by itself twice, though the screen was dark (no images) and it wouldn't power off unless i unplugged it. Returned it.

Well, how do I start? First off, this was an excellent purchase. As an avid user of all streaming media, and having my own YouTube Channels, and editing Music Videos, I needed something at a UHD 4K level that wouldn’t drain my pockets. After days of research and comparing different Makes and Models under the $500.00 price tag, this was an excellent buy.
Considering Westinghouse has been in the industry for over 130 years, and was the first company to introduce the Quick-Start TV’s. (The older tube TV’s had to warm up before being able to show a picture.) I knew this was the choice to make, and after receiving my unit, I was not disappointed.
I’ve see some reviews with negative ratings only because they’re not doing what they’re supposed to do. You don’t buy a new car without adjusting the rearview mirrors or adjusting the drivers’ seat. Same goes with a high-end TV’s. You just don’t “plug and play” with factory settings. Every environment has different lighting surroundings, as well as acoustic reflections.
My advice is this, adjust the Levels of your Bass and Treble in the Audio, and adjust the Brightness, and Color in the Picture to your liking. Set the Sharpness two to three notches less than the full setting. Make sure your Screen Temperature is set to Normal, not Cool or Warm. If I say any more, I’d have to charge you.
Yeah, do some work. You’re investing in a product that you’re supposed to enjoy for years to come, make it worth your while.

It was time to look for a new tv after our 3 year old 50 inch LG stopped working. The screen went black one day and would not come back on. My husband and I decided we did not want to purchase another LG after this. We did a lot of research and read tons of reviews on bestbuy.com. We figured since we were getting a new tv we might as well upgrade. We purchased a "popular brand" 55 inch 4K uhd tv, got home, set it up and was immediately disappointed in the picture quality. The picture was washed out and grainy looking. I played with the settings and also looked online to help calibrate it. Nothing seemed to get the picture clear. We decided to bring it back and try this Westinghouse. We have a Westinghouse tv in another room in our home that has never given us a problem in the past 5 years, so why not give this one a shot. We returned the other TV after 2 days of watching blurry tv shows. We paid $380 for this tv ($120 cheaper than the other) which we thought was an amazing deal. I am so happy we decided to give this tv a chance. The picture quality is incredible! The colors are bold, picture is crystal clear and the 4K is amazing!! We just got it set up last night so I haven't had a chance to play around with the apps and stuff yet but so far we are very impressed with this Tv. I would recommend anyone looking for a 55 inch 4K tv in the less than $1,000 price range to give this one a shot, you won't find a better picture at this price!

I was not happy with the overall experience and the TV had a crack in the bezel on delivery. I took it back for a Sony Bravia 55 inch.

Hi guys, I was looking for reviews all over, and I saw from good to really bad ones, so far my TV is behaving really good, picture quality is very good, not sure if the guys from Westinghouse upgrade their software, as it shows more renovated from previous models. For $250, 55", 4K on Black Friday was a great deal. I will keep you posted if I noticed anything unusual.
