To my surprise when i open the case the dvd was missing...didnt go back to store...would u believe that story????

This was just something that should not have ever been made. The book was too short to even consider a movie.

This was billed as a great children's movie so I bought it for 3 ,5 and 7 year old boys. I had to turn it off when the boy, dressed in animal pajamas, jumped on the kitchen counter and started screaming at his mother "Feed me! Feed Me!" while she was attempting to entertain a gentlemen friend. This is NOT a PG movie; it's a PG-13 at best, maybe an R. I turned it off and threw the DVD in the trash -- the first time I've ever done that! I then spent the next several minutes comforting the children about it being a really bad movie. Absolutely would NOT recommend this to anyone unless they were a psychology major and needed material on delinquent pre-teens.

The movie was bought for my almost three year old. We read the book to her often and she loves it. This movie could not be any farther from the book.. It was painfully long and boring. My hisband explained it as depressing. It totally missed the bases of the book. I can't believe I waisted $20 on it.

Couldn't wait for it to end!! Save your money. Could not believe they recommend this DVD for family. The characters a whacking each other in the heads with bats.

This was a disappointing movie. Very slow beginning. I didn't even bother to view it with my grandchildren.
