Kinda good but something felt off about this one. Maybe someone else can see too.

Based on the beloved bestselling, award winning children's classic, Where the Wild Things Are, book, but reeeeeally different than the book. The movie was dark and weird and dealt with some heavier issues than ever were revealed in the book. Nevertheless, I will watch it now and again. It will remain in my collection.

I read this book to my son a million times when he was a child so I was interested in how it was adapted to film....(got a really good deal price wise on the dvd or I would never have bought it.) there are some children movie that even adults can enjoy...this one not so much....I'm just half heartedly recommending this for a child.

Bought this movie during a sale. I read this book to my kids all the time so I thought they would love the movie. They did not. I sat down to watch it with them. Within 20 minutes they were both off doing something else. Haven't tried to get them to watch it since.

This movie really took the award-winning children's book to a darker side. Max's behavior was shocking and the Wild Things scared both of my kids, especially when one monster ripped the arm off another out of anger!

My grandson liked the movie. I just wish it had more color in it. It was very dull looking . A little more color would have made it better.

I fondly remember this story as a kid. The movie did it no justice. The kid was very annoying.

I think this movie was underrated. It is a nice little adventure movie for you and your kids.

My 10 year old liked the movie enough that she purchased it with her own money.

Not what i was expecting but it did keep me intertand

I had purchased this movie with my 3 year old son in mind as he loves the book. I viewed it to make sure that it would be appropriate for the intended audience. Unfortuantely there are quite a few scences that I thought where definantly inappropriate for a 3 year old. I think it may work for an older child who has a better grasp of right and wrong and what is hurtful.
