One of the most underrated films I've seen in a long time. JK Simmons was amazing, great character development, solid tension, and a film that should have won many academy awards the year it came out.

I thought I would enjoy this movie more but all in all it was a good movie that many will enjoy.

This movie is amazing! A movie about priorities and working hard to be the best! If you are a musician then you will feel thoroughly at home with these characters.

I knew nothing about this movie when a watched it. To me, the movie was an intense film with lots of drama. I was not sure what would happen next. Surely, an interesting and entertaining film. Great acting from all of the actors.

An instant classic. Although La La Land may overshadow in terms of spectacle, Whiplash has the raw grit and saltiness that La La Land doesn't.

Movie looks great but the real kicker is the Dolby Atmos mix. If you have a surround system prepare to have your socks knocked off! Highly recommended!

Birdman may have won the Best Picture Oscar at the Academy Awards but Whiplash was my favorite movie of the year. This movie doesn't waste a frame. I saw it three times in the theaters and I walked out sweating all three times.

This movie encapsulated what if feels like to have that conductor who is tough as nails and pushes you to the breaking point. Even if you are not a musician this is a great movie and one of J.K. Simmons best performance.

This movie reflects how some people use intense coaching as a mean to draw out the talents of others. The question is .....in the end is it the coaching or talent thats the reason for success but with a few twist at the end
