Love the story on this 4k release!! I won’t give any spoilers but just trust me this movie is underrated!!

What can I say...Best film of 2014, one that can be watched over and over again. It will make a Jazz fan out of anyone. Simmons is/was clearly GOLD, but the true gem was Miles Teller! OUTSTANDING!!

Terence Fletcher : There are no two words in the English language more harmful than 'good job'. This is best movie of 2014, and a tense and emotional film with fantastic performances from 2 actors.

An intense performance by Simmons in this compelling student-teacher film.I missed it in the theaters, but glad I bought the Blu-ray... which looks great & includes the original Whiplash short film.

If you're a steelbook collector & come across this, buy it. Kinda hard to find & it's one of the best from 2014 along side Nightcrawler.

A very good movie that shows college music bands and programs can cause severe stress. It is similar to sports programs that place great pressure on the participants. No wonder this show won Oscars

I had heard how good this movie was so I decided to check it out. So glad I did! From the phenomenal acting of J.K. Simmons to the soundtrack, I loved this movie! A must-see!!!

This is such a haunting movie, it will stay with you long after the credits role. I find this movie inspiring. Seeing how far someone will go for the art they love is a great formula for an Oscar!

I love the subtlety of the artwork on the steelbook with the touch of blood. This is a powerhouse movie. I can't believe it was shot in 19 days. J. K. Simmons is SUPERB!

The steel book looks so nice in person if you even remotely enjoy this, this is the version to buy. Definitely worth the money.

It's so good! I've watched this three times already this week. Great performances and a great script make this a heck of a movie. Ending is Fantastic! Must Own if you like movies!!!

Love this movie so much I had to purchase it on Blu Ray. Use to play in a band so this brings back memories. Great soundtrack too.

JK SSimmons steals the show as the "drill sergeant" music teacher! A well deserved Oscar in a fabulous performance. You'll love it.
