Got this as a gift for my son. it is one of his favorite movies and having it in steelbook and 4K made this a great gift.

Didn't really want to watch it after seeing previews but was out voted. Really glad I did. Any teen going into music should watch this. Really great acting and Simmons REALLY deserved his Oscar

One of my favorite movies of all time. Definitely recommend it specially on 4K. Looks amazing. Great Black Friday purchase.

Fun film watching all this destructive nature of this teacher and student who just cannot play drums to save his life

Liked this movie a lot could not believe what all the teacher got away with as far as disciplining his students.

At first after hearing about this movie and the reviews I was still skeptical of it because I wasn't a big fan of music genre movies. However, this is one of my favorite movies now!

An excellent movie, can see why it was nominated/won so many awards. Also, a must-have for any percussionist or musician.

You can't go wrong with Whiplash. I had rented it before but wanted to own it. J.K. Simmons is great in this obviously as is Miles Teller. The quality of the Blu-ray is very good.

Bought this for my husband. He just raved about the movie how it grabbed his attention the story was thought provoking not a comedy which is my taste but would recommend to others.

For my estimation this was the best film of 2014. Terrific acting all around combined with a great script. If you're a musician you will absolutely love and connect with this film. 5/5

A must see movie!!! A great looking steelbook and the price just puts the cherry on top! I just wish that it came with a digital copy.

This movie is very good. It's very much about jazz and what is required of you to become a great musician. Also it's about how obsession with perfection can become abusive.

I've always enjoyed this movie since I've seen it the first time. Very intense scenese between the drummer and teacher.

I love this film, the pacing is great, both teller and j.k Simmons just knock it out of the park with their performances. And how it ends is probably the best way it could have ended

in Damien Chazelle. JK Simmons deservedly won an Oscar for his portrayal of a hard nosed music teacher whom pushes Miles Teller's character to the limit.
